A:
Yes, all players in this division can be considered for Minor. Please review both division descriptions

Q: Do you keep score and are there umpires?

A: Yes, there is one umpire on the field during games.  Scores and standings are kept.

Q: What size field do they play on?
A: All games are played on a regulation Little League
field. Bases are 60ft apart and the pitcher's mound is 46 ft from home plate.
Coach Pitchers will deliver the ball from no closer than 35ft from home plate.

Q: Can I Coach a team?

A: Yes, if positions are available! Prospective Coaches must complete an online application.  If you would like to serve as a Coach, then please note that on your child's online registration.  All Coaches must be approved by the TAYBS Board of Directors and the Iosco County 4H.

Q: Will my child get to play all the time?
A:
No, not all the time, but every player is guaranteed (2) defensive innings and (1) at bat per game.

Q: What are the volunteer requirements?
A: TAYBS is an all-volunteer organization so there are many ways to volunteer. Help is always needed with team
parenting, assisting with picture and opening night activities, and helping with post-season tournaments.  These are just a few of the many ways to help support the league.
